The Flicka is one of the most unique and admired sailboats ever built. It is a true bluewater cruiser and is often used as a live aboard boat because of its spacious accomodations and standing headroom. The most unique aspect of the boat is that it is only 20 feet long.
The Flicka was originally designed by Bruce Bingham and was first built by Norstar Marine beginning in 1975. In 1977 the mold for the boat was sold to Pacific Seacraft who went on to build around 434 of the little boats. At least 434 was the last hull number ever built. Pacific Seacraft no longer makes the Flicka but they remain a sought after boat. It is unknown whether any more will ever be built. There is not another sailboat like the Flicka and unless someone begins building them again there never will be. To give you an idea of how nice the boats are the last Flicka to sell sold for around $100,000 new which is pretty amazing. The closest boat to a Flicka would be a Falmouth Cutter.

I had my Flicka 20 Wood / Teak Bowsprit replaced with an aluminum one. I know it's not original equipment but I like not having to worry about it again. Here is a link to some pictures of the new bowsprit.
