 Oralite (formerly Reflexite) V98 Conformable Prismatic film is one of the only ultra bright films that will actually stretch slightly and conform to complex curves, rivets, weld lines or some mild treadplate. For example, V98 would mold itself to a fire fighters helmet where other tapes would bunch up on the edges. This ability to stretch is limited, however, in many applications it provides all the conformability needed to do the job. Because of this ease of application, V98 Fluorescent Lime and Red are often used to create chevron stripes on emergency vehicles such as fire engines. V98 is also repositionable which means it can be applied lightly, immediately pulled up and then applied again. Once in perfect position, it can then be pressed into the surface. This ability, plus conformability makes installation much easier and forgiving.
As stated above, we carry 1", 2", 4" and 6" - 30' or 150' rolls of Oralite V98 "conformable" micro prismatic fluorescent lime reflective tape. A few applications are marking emergency vehicles, fire trucks, automobiles, utility vehicles, bollards, poles, dumpsters, gates, barricades, tractor trailers, dumpsters, roll off containers and more. Oralite V98 tapes carry a 5-7 year all weather outdoor rating depending on environmental conditions and UV exposure. For application, it is easy to handle and resists chipping and cracking. It is also more conformable than standard prismatic tapes due to its poly vinyl top coat and its ability to stretch slightly. This allows it to be used on helmets and surfaces that have compound curves. As far as color, Fluorescent Lime is especially popular due to its visibility in the day and night. It is both Fluorescent and Reflective which is what makes it unique.
This film is similar in appearance to our V92 material but slightly thicker and more pliable. And just like V92, because of its micro prismatic design, Oralite V98 tape is considerably brighter than standard engineer grade tape and high intensity reflective films. Light is reflected via micro prisms creating a tighter and more efficient return of light. This allows the tape to be seen from much further away. Visibility can be thousands of feet instead of hundreds. Think of V98 as a spot light versus a flood light. Brighter return of light, out to a much greater distance.

About our Products - We carry a wide variety of reflective tapes. They are all branded and certified products. We stock almost everything that we sell in house and ship quickly. If a product is not in stock or is to be drop shipped, we will make you aware and specify a lead time. We carry Oralite and Nikkalite reflective tapes. Both are on QPL lists across the country and both are manufactured by reputable, global manufacturers. Our reflective tapes are rated for outdoor applications with life expectancies of from 5 - 12 years depending on the film. For applications where the tape is out of the weather like a fire truck in a firehouse, the life expectancy is longer.
Shipping - We ship quickly using US Mail for light boxes and UPS Ground for heavier ones. The majority of our products are in stock and ship out the same or next day. Delivery time is approximately 3-5 days on most standard orders.
Return and Order Cancellation Policy - Reflective tape orders can be cancelled until they are shipped out. After products are shipped, we accept returns in certain cases. If we have made a mistake and have shipped the wrong item, we remedy that at no cost to the customer. For returns where another item is purchased to replace an item purchased in error, we accept those with no restock fee. For all other returned items we apply a 10% restock fee.
