Diamond Plate Reflective Dots and Shapes - NFPA 1901 Compliant
Satisfying the NFPA 1901 requirements for Chevron Stripes on Diamond Plated areas can be a challenge. This is due to the uneven surface of diamond plate. Reflective shapes that avoid the raised diamonds and sit on the flat areas solve this problem. We offer 4 different ways to make your diamond plate NFPA 1901 compliant. Diamond Plate Dots, Overlay Appliques, Chevron Strips, and Diamond Tabs. All are a simple peel and stick application. Each product and method are described below.
All of our diamond plate reflective solutions are based on Oralite Reflective V98 Prismatic Films. V98 is the newest addition to the Oralite product line. It is conformable, repositionable and clean removable. Prismatic films are the brightest of all the reflective tapes available and far exceed NFPA standards. Since these are custom cut and not returnable we recommend that you let us send you a free sample so you can test the product on your diamond plate. DIAMOND DOTS - 100 (3/4") Dots Per Sheet - $10 per sheet
Our Oralite V98 reflective 3/4" dots make creating reflective diamond plate easy. Our dots are 3/4" in diameter and fit nicely in the flat area between the diamonds. They will work on virtually all diamond plate designs and are easy to align and apply. Installation is quick and easy. Just peel, stick and press on to a clean surface. 144 dots give you one square foot of coverage. (top left of image above)

DIAMOND OVERLAY APPLIQUES - Quantity 1 = 36 overlays (1 square foot of coverage - $18)
Our overlay appliques (see picture above - top right of image) cover even more surface area and are also easy to align and install due to their unique design. They only fit the diamond plate pictured above with the pointed ends. No sample pack is necessary as long as your diamond plate is like the type above. The overlays cover 4 flat areas at one time which makes installation much quicker.
CHEVRON STRIPS - Quantity 1 = 24 strips (1 square foot of coverage - $18)
Our "Chevron Strips" (image above - bottom left) are the quickest and easiest way to create reflective chevron stripes on diamond plate or tread plate. (Based on our experience installation is about 4 times quicker than dots.) These custom designed shapes are cut from Oralite V98 prismatic material. Each strip covers 6 flat areas in the diamond plate.
NOTE - to assure a proper fit, you should test a free sample on your diamond plate before purchasing. When you order our sample pack you will get one of each and they will be marked A, B, C or D. This product comes in four styles, A, B, C and D. Style A is for diamond plate where the tips are exactly 1" plus 1/32 apart. Style B is for diamond plate where the tips are exactly 1" apart. Style C is for diamond plate where the tips are 1" less 1/32" apart. Style D is for diamond plate where the tips are 1" less 1/16" apart.
DIAMOND PLATE TABS - Quantity 1 = 75 Tabs to a sheet (1 square foot of coverage - $20)
Our Diamond Plate Tabs are our newest shape for making diamond plate reflective and NFPA 1901 Compliant. They fit all standard diamond plate. No sample pack needed as long as your diamond plate is like in the picture above. Tabs cover 2 spaces each and are an easy peel, stick, and press on application. Our TABS give the most coverage of all our diamond plate shapes. They also create the cleanest look.

About our Products - We carry a wide variety of reflective tapes. They are all branded and certified products. We stock almost everything that we sell in house and ship quickly. If a product is not in stock or is to be drop shipped, we will make you aware and specify a lead time. We carry Oralite and Nikkalite reflective tapes. Both are on QPL lists across the country and both are manufactured by reputable, global manufacturers. Our reflective tapes are rated for outdoor applications with life expectancies of from 5 - 12 years depending on the film. For applications where the tape is out of the weather like a fire truck in a firehouse, the life expectancy is longer.
Shipping - We ship quickly using US Mail for light boxes and UPS Ground for heavier ones. The majority of our products are in stock and ship out the same or next day. Delivery time is approximately 3-5 days on most standard orders.
Return and Order Cancellation Policy - Reflective tape orders can be cancelled until they are shipped out. After products are shipped, we accept returns in certain cases. If we have made a mistake and have shipped the wrong item, we remedy that at no cost to the customer. For returns where another item is purchased to replace an item purchased in error, we accept those with no restock fee. For all other returned items we apply a 10% restock fee.
